Property Search

Once you've figured out your budget, the next step is to define the features of the home you want (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) and make a list of the two or three neighborhoods that interest you most. Identifying your favorite areas will help you focus your search and find the ideal home.

Contrato & Revisión

During the purchase process, the seller's attorney will draft a contract, which will be reviewed by the buyer's attorney. With the assistance of your agent and attorney, you can conduct a series of thorough checks to ensure the property has no hidden issues. This process includes home inspections, appraisals, title searches, land surveys, and important disclosures.

Mortgage & Approval

If you already have a pre-approval, this step will be much easier. Mortgage applications cannot be processed without a signed contract. You can apply for a mortgage at the bank that pre-approved you or compare offers to find the best terms. The application generally requires information about your employment, assets, debts, income, credit history, and details of the property you wish to purchase.

Closing & Moving

Once the mortgage is approved, the property managers will coordinate a closing date, and the buyer's and seller's attorneys will coordinate with the banks to set a convenient date and time. After the closing, you will have officially acquired your new home. Your search is over, and it's time to celebrate your new acquisition!
